Welcome to Stories of Pyxidas!

Welcome to Stories of Pyxidas, a community-built website for the purpose of sharing stories about our town.

Here, you will find a vast range of tales submitted by our wonderful community. With so much occuring in our town over the last few years, it is no surprise that many civilians have stepped forward with the desire to build a tight-knit community with the people around them and so we, the Midland Association, have taken it upon ourselves to provide a suitable place for such.

May God protect us, for this town is rife with sinners.

About us

The Midland Association, or "MidAs" for short, was founded in February 2024 by Brianna Midland, and her husband Jonathan Midland.

In Brianna Midland's own words, the purpose of MidAs is to function as "the voice of the people". In a world where it is not unusal for people to be silenced by those in power, the Midlands saw an opportunity to fight back as a community against this attempted silencing in the form of MidAs, and this fight continues to this day.

The Midland Association has been actively involved in several charity events and community services, such as constructing a homeless shelter and providing warm food for all who cannot afford it. It is the belief of MidAs that everyone is a child of God, and thus should be treated equally.

The intention of Stories of Pyxidas is to forge a community where people can come together to tell their stories about the events they have been through, and receive support from the wider community. We understand that the past few years have been tough for many of those residing in the town of Pyxidas, and we also understand that the best way to remedy these feelings is to talk to other people and get to know them and their stories.

It is our hope that, with enough time, we can foster a community of storytelling, compassion, and friendship.

How to submit a story

If you have a story that you would like to tell, do not be afraid to reach out to us! While we are not currently available to accept submissions, Julia Kindel from HARBOUR has been kind enough to volunteer for the Midland Assocation, and will be reviewing your submissions.

To submit a story, send an email to juliakindel.harbour@gmail.com with the subject: "Story Submission". Then, complete the following:

  1. Please begin your submission with a name that you would like to be listed with your story on our website. This does not have to be your real name.

  2. Provide a title for your story. This can be anything, as long as it is relevant to the story and does not exceed 100 characters.

  3. Tell us your story. Go into as much detail as you wish, and try to avoid using real people's names if possible.

  4. Attach any images you wish to include at the end of the email. However, images are not necessary for us to post your submission.

If you have more than one story to submit, please do not combine them into one email. Sending separate emails with different stories is acceptable.

Please bear in mind that all submissions are screened before they are put up on the website.

Thank you for your submission.
